Welcome to Studio Defaux (“Studio Defaux LLC”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website studiodefaux.com and any purchases made through it. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.

1. General Information

Studio Defaux LLC is registered in the State of Florida, United States. We operate our eCommerce platform via Shopify and may process orders and payments through third-party partners such as Shopify Payments or Airwallex.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our website after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website or make a purchase. By using our site, you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract.

3. Products and Availability

All items are produced in limited quantities. Availability cannot be guaranteed, even after an order has been placed. We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any product at any time without prior notice.

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible; however, variations in color, texture, or finish may occur due to individual screen settings or production processes.

4. Pricing and Currency

Prices are displayed in USD by default, though local currencies may be shown in certain regions for convenience.

Prices do not include import duties, taxes, or other fees that may apply depending on the destination country. These are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated during checkout.

5. Shipping

We currently ship from our fulfillment partner in China to customers worldwide.

  • United States: Orders are shipped via DHL or UPS. Delivery takes up to 8 business days. All U.S. orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), meaning duties and import taxes must be paid by the customer upon delivery.
    If duties are not paid and the shipment is refused, no refund will be issued.
    We hope to offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) options in the near future once we establish U.S.-based fulfillment.
  • Other Regions: Delivery times vary by destination and are displayed at checkout. Some regions may be shipped DDP (duties included), while others are DDU (duties unpaid). Customers are responsible for verifying any import requirements before placing an order.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, local postal services, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns from U.S. customers within 14 days of receipt, provided items are unworn, unused, and in their original condition with all tags attached.
To initiate a return, please contact support@studiodefaux.com to receive the return address and further instructions.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

At this time, we are unable to accept returns from customers outside the U.S. due to logistical limitations. We are working to expand this capability in the future.

If your item is defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. Upon review, we may offer store credit or a replacement.

7. Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees

For U.S. customers, all orders are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Import duties (estimated around 47%) and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid directly to the carrier before delivery.

For international orders, the applicable duties and taxes depend on the destination country and may vary. Any shipment refused due to unpaid duties or taxes will not be eligible for a refund.

8. Payments

We accept most major credit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, and other payment methods offered via Shopify Payments or Airwallex.
All transactions are securely processed. We do not store or have access to your full payment information.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on studiodefaux.com, including but not limited to product images, logos, designs, text, and other materials, is the intellectual property of Studio Defaux LLC or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on any part of our website or content without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Defaux LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product in question.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Florida.
